Description:

The free version of Ice Fishing Derby is a five-day fishing derby game with a unique twist. As the days progress, the weather becomes progressively colder. Each day begins at the bait shop, where you can acquire the necessary tackle for your fishing adventure.

During the game, you have the opportunity to catch various species of fish such as bluegills, crappie, perch, walleyes, and northern pike. At the end of each day, you'll be able to collect cash at the weigh-in based on the fish you've caught. It's crucial to earn enough money to purchase a portable shelter and heater if you want to survive.

You start with basic gear and gradually progress to capturing larger fish. Once you have the essentials covered, you can consider acquiring advanced tools like a sonar flasher or an underwater camera system, which enables you to observe what's happening beneath the ice.

Your objective is clear - survive the tournament and maximize your earnings. However, exercise caution when other fishermen offer you trade deals on the lake.

The game is free to play, but in-app purchases provide access to additional items in the bait shop and the option to begin each tournament with more starting money.

Please note that some users have encountered issues running previous versions of the game due to a bug in iOS 8.0. Updating your device to iOS 8.1 or installing game version 1.06 should resolve this problem.
